Once the mission vote closes and a winner is known, AssangeDAO will finally have an official purpose again. That is the necessary first step, but most mature DAOs also publish a short set of supporting statements so that holders, contributors, and others have a shared reference for proposals and spending, and for the future of JUSTICE.

AssangeDAO’s own earlier forum thread (t/285) already sketched Vision, Goals, and Core Values alongside various mission drafts. Those were never put to a vote.
What will still be missing after the mission vote
- Vision — A short description of the world the DAO is working toward if the mission succeeds.
- Values / operating principles — A short list (typically 4–6) that guides spending, partnerships, and proposal screening. The Consensus Unit already references “Julian’s values”; these have never been formalized as DAO-wide principles.
- Goals / priorities — Mission alone does not tell holders or contributors what to fund first. AIP-20 holds staking rewards until the mission vote; after that, spending still needs a framework.
- Application criteria — How the mission is interpreted in borderline cases (what counts as aligned work, who decides).

Keep the current mission vote focused and Immediately after it passes, we could open a short follow-up discussion and AIP that adds:
- A one-sentence Vision
- A short list of Values / Principles
- A lightweight process for setting near-term goals (tied to the Perpetual Fund returns or an annual spending vote)
This is the same pattern used by Gitcoin, Lido, ShapeShift, MoonDAO, and others. It gives the DAO a complete package without delaying the mission decision itself.
