Julian Assange’s values, as reflected through his work and public statements, centres on transparency, truth, and the empowerment of individuals through access to information. He champions the principle of government and institutional accountability, believing that exposing hidden truths is essential for justice and democratic integrity. Assange values freedom of expression and the press, viewing them as critical tools for challenging power structures and fostering open discourse. His commitment to protecting whistleblowers underscores his belief in the courage of those who risk personal safety to reveal systemic wrongs.
