A new start in the new year?

Wau Holland released their report, and it’s as much information as we’ll get from them for awhile. The ultimate fate of the funds is unknown, but the DAO shouldn’t wait.

It’s time to advance AIP-12. @Gabriel and @SilkeNoa should help that process. Once governance transition happens, the DAO has a chance of finding its future. But that’s not possible while the structure demands the involvement of volunteers who have other things demanding their time. There were several nominations for the GTU that I think are more than enough to begin the process. There have been no objections to the form of AIP-12 and no calls to modify it in months.

It’s time for the DAO to decide how it wants to support Assange and others in a post-release world. It’s time to decentralize this decentralized organization. If the DAO’s inaction continues in 2025, it’s as good as dead.

Shouldn’t the biggest beneficiary promote all this? Who strangled Amir’s enthusiasm? This is not a decentralized DAO, it is completely centralized.

Gabriel’s version of AIP-12 should go up for a vote as early as possible in 2025.

I think Gabriel should direct the multisigs to process the above using his consensus unit powers.

Amir said he would only vote on governance - so here is his opportunity to give the DAO a purpose.

If the multi sigs have all walked away - then the community should be told, instead of this festering away, frustrating people.
