The Assange DAO is a disgrace to Mr. Assange. The Assange DAO should not exist, and its dissolution may be the best choice.

People contributed because they’ve been looking for a DAO, and some idiot basically emptied the funds and never even released any information about what happened with all the funds from the treasury.

Assange dao is a fraud project. At present, the United States is cracking down on illegal securities, which is an opportunity.
The DAO did not accomplish the main goal, of either freeing Assange, or of being a decentralized organization.
Untrue. The funds were always promoted as being for Assange’s legal fund. The funds were sent to Wau Holland for the reasons previously explained - entirely for security and prudent financial management. This organisation HAS Julian Assange’s blessing and has a longstanding background with Julian Assange over at least a decade. Hence why they were chosen.
As for the DAO continuing there are small funds in treasury (around 300K). Partially recovered now from the decline in ETH worldwide last year. Would be wise to now hire a couple of professionals (Maybe for 6 months) to continue on with the DAO as a vehicle to assist in obtaining Julian’s freedom by sorting out its Admin positions, multi sigs and finalising governance. Those professionals need to be well known industry experts.
They should put together a small project for the DAO to revitalise.
The original Assange NFT collection proposal as per the original outline should go ahead IMO. This could include engaging artists to prepare a small collection related to Assange - maybe something depicting Assange, Embassy Cat, Vivienne Westwood etc.
I think higher goals such as the Assange Award should be left until the above is all achieved.
THIS WAS THE ORIGINAL OBJECTIVE WITH REGARD TO FUTURE FUND RAISING AND THE DAO SHOULD CONCENTRATE ON THIS METHOD TO MOVE FORWARD.
It is apparent that the DAO needs to connect with High profile individuals instead of going down the road of thinking that volunteers can manage it all.
