I propose amir to lead our assange dao!!我提议由amir带领我们阿桑奇dao的发展

I’ve watched amir’s posts and amir’s speeches on ama, and I personally think amir is the right person for our community to lead our development. At least for now****

I appreciate that Amir was willing to apologize for people being called CIA Agents, I have issues of whether a person with his anarchist / antifa viewpoints, can put his ideology aside and be “viewpoint neutral” in the application of $JUSTICE. Moreover, if the goal of the organization is the dispensation of $JUSTICE or freeing Assange, the only way that is going to happen, is if the organization is ran by a lawyer, because only lawyers have the right to represent other people in court. Lawyers are also held to a very high standard of conduct, and are protected by attorney-client privilege, so they cannot be forced to hand over funds, or to testify in court against persons they represent.

Regarding the goal of our dao, it is also a question that I will consider in the future, because it is obvious that in a specific situation, there is a clear conflict between the interests of our dao and the interests of Assange’s family (excluding personal safety and freedom, privacy rights) . Therefore, we’d better clarify the boundary of the right.

Agree
Obviously, Amir is more suitable for the capabilities of the entire Dao project

I think is should elaborate. Amir claims to be a “anarchist revolutionary”, and that to me seems to be very far from the principals of justice. It is that idealists believe themselves to be very moral, it is just that their moral ends frequently require extreme means to achieve them. In the case of Amir Taaki that meant, to help fight a civil war in Syria on behalf of the Kurds, as a foreigner interloper among many others. Whatever the merits of their ambitions, the last thing that comes out of the barrel of a gun is considered justice, and revolutions are by their inherent nature not about justice, but about seizing power. Revolutions require that you treat people, as a means to an end, rather than an ends unto themselves. This perspective comes from the books “Moral Man and Immoral Society: A Study in Ethics and Politics” by Reinhold Nibuhr and from the book “Two Concepts of Liberty” by Isaiah Berlin, and the “Metaphysics of Morals” by Immanuel Kant.

No Amir should not be ‘the’ leader.

The DAO needs many leaders to rise up, yes.

No one person has authority over the DAO.

Julian Assange (Speaking through the Assange Family) should have full authority to block any proposal which he thinks could be contrary to the mission of the DAO.

This does not mean that Assange Family (or even Assange himself) has the ability to take or move any funds from the DAO.

This is to ensure that DAO cannot be taken over by the CIA or malicious actors who wish to sabotage it to use the DAO against Assange.

Amir could and should be the leader for now. He is the most active one in the DAO with ability to build. As a DAO we could of course let other people rise and get involved, but the current situation is not that many good talents have time around.

I propose as we could build a DAO with the leadership of Amir and consensus of token holders and get great talents of community to form the first group of people that actively runs the DAO. We could also include monitor and rotating methods through voting. Then move forward from that.

I will consider your opinion to convey to our Chinese community. Thank you for your reply. Hope to hear more from you in the future

I think there is something inappropriate in what I just said. The statement was therefore deleted.
我认为自己刚才的发言有不当的地方。因此删除了发言。

Nowhere did he say that, he said that he would translate my message to the Chinese Community, because I do not speak Chinese.

Please do not attack him for something that he did not do.

I misunderstood. Thank you for your reply.

Yes, we need a leader who is well-received, has the courage to take responsibility, has confidence in the future of the DAO, AssangeDAO, and is willing to work

@cg771106051 Can you share some of these posts and speeches on ama from Amir? I’d like to see them.

Amir +1, before and after the DAO Governance is set up.

I think we don’t need a leader at all. I don’t know anybody in here and because I saw a lot of people that try to sabotage this project, I’m even more careful about such an idea.

This project doesn’t exist for a long time at all and it’s too early to give such classical hierachy roles like a leader \ king or so… ^^

The only people I trust right now, is Assange’s family, because they do everything to help their family member.

The proposal system, discussions and voting system should do fine in my opinion.

I don’t want to give priviledges to one person as a ‘leader’, as this is one of the most undemocratic forms on the planet, usually.

Thanks friends, I’m happy to lead in the sense of providing vision and direction to the community without holding actual power. But a lot of this depends on the results of the first round of elections.

That’s because our demands are different. You have your demands, we have our demands. Please don’t impose your demands on us

I can almost assume that more than 80%-90% of our community will support you. Given the strong holding groups in our community. Then this is a sure result.!!!

What demands? You said “we” have demands. Who did u mean? The whole community? A group of people that want one person as a leader?

I’m part of the community and I just said my opinion and it has as much rights to be in this thread, as your opinion.

The project just started and is full of people that don’t know each other properly. Why talking about having a leader already, when a common goal, our ideas \ contributions and votings are leading the project?

I have nothing against people that provide encouragement, help, passion. We all have the same goal to free Assange, or? The collective core idea is the same. So why complaining about my opinion without even bringing arguments \ counterarguments?

I believe in this project very much and look forward to unite together. Only together we can be strong.
